"I just want you to know what a boost it was to be in your class Friday... it was a game changer for me… giving myself permission to really really play... I don’t know why or how, but I just loved being in the room with you! And I love what I made... but also excited for what’s to come next."
- Laurie Riley
"What I loved best about your teaching this weekend (and I've felt this from you before too) was something I'm not exactly sure how to put into words but I'll try. It's a feeling that instead of trying to make something good, you're embodying the practice of listening to yourself and seeing what YOU like. And that whatever that is, it's ok to make it and to put it out there because others will probably like it too. The idea being that art doesn't have to be too precious or too pretentious. It just has to be true. I find this incredibly freeing, so thank you!! I also loved your devotion to the making process and how easily you can celebrate artists and our pieces...I can see that you really love beauty and can find it in so many places and that's so healing. :)"

free-flow: an advanced 3-day in-studio workshop
(Note: This workshop focuses on intuitive painting and process. For Bibby’s collage and layering techniques, see her Mixed Media workshops.)
Jun 26th-Jun 28th (3 days) | 10-4pm (SOLD OUT: E-Mail for Waitlist)
or
Mar 6th-Mar 8th (3 days) | 10-4pm (SOLD OUT: E-Mail for Waitlist)
This advanced workshop is designed for artists ready to move beyond overthinking and into clarity, confidence, and flow. Rather than teaching specific layering or collage techniques (as in Bibby's mixed-media courses), this class emphasizes working decisively in the present moment and allowing the painting to unfold through action. Students will work on a large unstretched canvas mounted on the wall, encouraging a more physical and confident approach to painting. The studio environment is structured and supportive, with generous uninterrupted painting time and daily group discussions to reflect on breakthroughs and process.

- Level: Advanced
- Cost: $1450
- Materials: All materials are provided. Each student will receive a 4'x6' unstretched canvas to work on and will work exclusively in acrylic paint (no oils permitted).
