I work with different types of paper to create rich texture in my large abstract mixed media art. My mixed media art process on paper involves layering collage papers and then applying paint with a trowel then scraping back the paint to create dimension. Marks, using graphite and charcoal, are woven between the layers. Many of the collage scarps used are created by hand. I invite you to take my mixed media art home on trial or send me a photo of your setting and I can Photoshop the painting into your home or office. Contact me to set up a private in person studio visit or a remote Zoom studio tour!
