Class Details

• Mixed media class: you will work on two panels and learn to: Create collage materials, layer materials, create rich texture with paint and collage, apply image transfers and more.
• ​Cost: $425 including all mixed media materials plus two 14"x14" cradled panels. Space is limited to 10-12 people and fills up quickly. Unlike other painting classes, all mixed media materials are included and the only thing you bring is you!

This advanced workshop is designed for artists ready to move beyond overthinking and into clarity, confidence, and flow. Through a focused, exploratory approach, participants learn to work decisively in the present moment, making intentional choices without pre-planning. The studio environment is structured and supportive. Experimentation and risk-taking are encouraged, with technique demonstrations offered as needed and generous uninterrupted painting time. Each day concludes with a group discussion to reinforce individual breakthroughs. Students will work on large-scale un-stretched canvases mounted on the wall, allowing ideas to unfold at scale and supporting a more decisive, confident approach to painting.

• Materials: All painting materials are provided, including collage supplies. Each student will receive a 4'x6' un-stretched canvas to work on, along with additional options. Students will work exclusively in acrylic paint (no oils permitted). Come prepared to work big, take risks, and push beyond your comfort zone.
